In the terminology of fashion, hair, fingernails, and toenails
play an eminent role. At various times, in many parts of
the world, women's arm hair has been considered chic, feminine,
even erotic, while at other times or in different places,
it was regarded coarse or a sign of bad taste.
In western societies, women's arm hair is usually looked
down upon as lack of chic. Especially, in the fashoin community,
the idea of a top model letting grow her hair under her
armpits is inacceptable. But maybe, in the future, they
will earn success by carrying arm hair wigs, who knows ?
